I can write up a whole book about what I think is best, but I don't want to waste my time if it is not going to be used. I would need to know what "Fuzzlr's & Staff's"vision and initial thoughts for the voting system are before I can make a plan that all would like by all and that would actually be used.

However, that being said I have some quick suggestions that I think would be useful that would work together perfectly.

Re-doing voting prizes/chances completely: (All below numbers add up to a 100% chance) [Note: To actually make them appear accurately in the voting wheel, they need to be slightly different % rates per item]
    • Keep the 1,000 meebles per initial vote, plus receive 1 vote crate key.
    • Keep the "lucky" chances when voting so people have the opportunity to win extra vote keys.
    • Set meebles prizes as follows in the vote crate: (Decreases the injection of new meebles into the economy which directly decreases the rate of inflation).
      • 30% - 1,000
      • 20% - 2,500
      • 10% - 5,000
      • 4% - 25,000
      • 1% - 50,000
    • Set all vote tools/armor in the vote crate as follows: (Makes the tools rarer and directly increase the demand for diamonds, enchants, and XP directly. Also, increases the demand for many other items indirectly).
      • 2% - Shovel "Silk"
      • 2% - Shovel "Fortune"
      • 1% - Axe "Silk"
      • 1% - Pickaxe "Silk"
      • 1% - Pickaxe "Fortune"
      • 0.5% - Shovel "X-type"
      • 0.5% - Axe "X-type"
      • 0.5% - Pickaxe "X-type"
      • 0.5% - Pickaxe "Obsidian Smasher" *new
      • 0.5% - Pickaxe "Glass Breaker"
      • 0.5% - Vote Armor
    • Set all disguise notes as follows in the vote crate as follows: (Put the disguise notes more in line with the "want factor" and makes them more rare and desirable).
      • 2% - RainbowSheep
      • 2% - Boat
      • 2% - Giant
      • 1% - Wither
      • 1%- Dragon
      • 1% - KlutchDecals
      • 1% - Fuzzlr
    • Set/Add more keys to vote crate prizes as follows: (Provide a wider range of excitement and a better draw factor for new players).
      • 2% - Vote Crate Key *new
      • 2% - Fly Crate Key
      • 1% - Perk Crate Key *new
    • Set/Add more items to vote crate prizes as follows: (Provides a certain cool and useful factor in many situations).
      • 3% - Haste II Note
      • 2% - Speed II Note *new
      • 2% - Jump II Note *new
      • 2% - Villager Egg *new
      • 0.5% - Grappling Hook
      • 0.5% - Viliger Tamer
      • 0.01% - A Spawner
    OPTIONAL
Along with the above changes, also add these to the /warp shop:
(By adding these items to the shop it actually suggests a value to them, rather than them being the toilet paper they currently are. This also provides the opportunity to be a meeble sink for the economy).
    • B 1,000- S :(Hidden - RainbowSheep
    • B 1,000- S :(Hidden - Boat
    • B 1,000- S :(Hidden - Giant
    • B 2,500- S :(Hidden - Wither
    • B 2,500- S :(Hidden - Dragon
    • B 2,500- S :(Hidden - KlutchDecals
    • B 2,500 - S :(Hidden - Fuzzlr
    • B 5,000 -S :(Hidden - Haste II Note
    • B 5,000 - S :(Hidden - Speed II Note
    • B 5,000 - S :( Hidden - Jump II Note
    • B 50,000 - S 10,000 - Villager Egg
(Note: I will be making a separate thread about /warp shop items and prices).

    Enjoy,
    Hornemans

No just make it so u can't get dis notes like at all make it like a %1 chance for all of them, but everything else is good. And stick with the money notes we have already.

We did utilise such system before as I'm sure you are aware, however I stress that we maintain our current model to increase server votes. The current vote prizes heavily encourage voting, thus "nerfing" voting would reduce the amount of votes the server gets thus, lowering rank and furthermore reducing player count. For the time being, this suggestion is invalid, however I would strongly approve such suggestion when we achieve a player count of approximately 180? I understand your concern Hornemans and I agree, but I believe our current focus with voting should not be the economy rather play retention count. Again once we receive a large player count, this suggestion SHOULD be incorporated and I would back it.

I presume you assume an interest in economical studies, thus you're idea is well planned out and can be valid. However, now's not the time. I would not reject this proposal at all nor would I approve of it until the time comes or with some minor adjustments.

    Thankyou for the idea dude!

-1 Until we reach 180 or 150 players.
+2 Once we reach that number

How do you define voting as overpowered and needing of a nerf atm?

The literal value of voting entering the server is 4K per player per day, and the literal value of a vote key is (I believe pseudogod said somewhere between 1-2k). The reason voting actually makes money is because they playerbase gave value to vote keys, it’s nothing the server should be trying to reprimand.

While I hate getting dis notes, did notes already accomplish the same nerfs you are asking. With money having a higher percentage to come iut (drastically higher than dis notes), money will come out the majority of the time. The increase in money slots that are picked would likely equal out the the fact money payouts was higher before, but you were less likely to get money.

I never said it needed "nerfed," I said it needed to be changed to be "better" (everyone's definition of better is not the same).

Not true. At a minimum you get 4K plus a minimum of another 5-10K, possible injection average total is about 12k per player per day that if they don't get lucky and win a 50k or 100k prize. (the rest of the player base money transferred between players for other items is of no importance to this discussion).

12,000 x 100 = 1,200,000 (this is the minimum amount that gets injected into the economy daily from voting alone). This is easily confirmed by the /baltop raising by 1,000,000+ every day.

I personally disagree with the idea of free money, In my oponion everyone needs to "work" for their money (which the systems I have suggested embrace the "work" concept). It is up to the staff to decide how much free money they want to give every day.

Personally I think the ultimate of economy would be almost no "free' money and a "locked" amount of money in the economy (for example, everyone gets 5k when joining and literally none else injected, therefore players simply move around money rather than spend/earn it) slight incentives are okay for voting and whatnot, but you shouldn't be able to run a medium sized town off it.

+1 Keeping in mind it is super importantly to have value behind voting. Would these values work out along side @Its_Madison 's suggestion -- in regard to adding more voting sites? I think both would be bennifical. Thank you for taking the time to put this together, greatly appriciated.

I think the prizes should be buffed rather than nerfed, and the actual key chance be dropped. It's far more exciting to get a key and know you won't get garbage instead of getting 4 keys and dreading the dis notes that only reinforce the high staff's massively inflated egos. On the other hand, hyperbuffed crates (although destroying the eco) are encouraging votes, which gets us more players, so from the social perspective, it's actually helping.

Just curious, why do you feel that way?

I think it's great to allow all players the chance to earn perks of all ranks, and it helps make MeepCraft EULA-compliant.

    +1 for the original idea

the joke's on you though because we need them to be eula compliant! Unless you want to take down that "Adds, Adds, and more Adds!" thread, guess you're for perk keys huh?

I am 100% for these changes. As a player who has pretty much made my fortune selling enchanted items, I can clearly see the negative impact voting is making on the industry, along with the entire economy. You may say that I have a bias since I sell these tools, but this will also be beneficial to anyone selling tools and to anyone selling ebooks, which includes entry level players who grind for enchants. Prices will rise, which will result in better competition, etc etc.
However following these changes should be ways for beginner players to be able to earn money proportional to the amount of work that is put in.
