Hello everyone! This is the first of a new format I am currently testing out to provide more detailed explanations of updates and raise awareness of the changes on the server. With that in mind, let's get into it. TownyThe entirety of Towny has been updated. The following changes have been made. Messages The majority of towny messages have been updated to be more visually appealing. Bonus Plots You can now purchase individual bonus plots in order to increase the maximum your town can claim. Using "/t buy bonus [amount]" will buy the defined number of bonus plots for 5,000 Meebles each. This exists separate from Nation Bonuses. You may purchase up to 250 bonus plots at this time. Town Titles & Levels Towny ranks and titles now follow this chart: Hamlet, Hermit (Mayor), 1 resident required Settlement, Leader (Mayor), 2 residents required Village, Chief (Mayor), 5 residents required Town, Archduke (Mayor), 10 residents required Large Town, Duke (Mayor), 15 residents required City, Deputy Mayor (Mayor), 25 residents required Large City, Mayor (Mayor), 50 residents required Metropolis, Lord (Mayor), 75 residents required Megapolis, Emperor (Mayor), 100 residents required Taxes By default, all towny staff ranks now pay taxes except VIP. This means even mayors will pay taxes unless they have this town rank. This has been added to allow for more flexibility for towns to work with. You can also now set a price to teleport to your town spawn with /t set spawncost. Ranks A new nation rank has been added! The "Lord" rank has access to: Nation Titles Nation Broadcast Inviting Towns to a Nation Kicking Towns from a Nation Granting Nation Ranks Managing Nation Relations Outposts Outposts can now be named! By setting a plot's name with /plot set name [name], using /t outpost [name] will take you to an outpost with that name. Nation Spawns and Boards Nations now have the ability to set their own spawnpoint anywhere within their capitol city. They may also set a board message. JobsMultiple jobs have been adjusted, as well as changes to perks. Adventurer Level 50 Perk The Lvl 50 Adventurer has been added as permanent fire resistance. Digger Lvl 100 Perk The Lvl 100 Digger has been added as permanent haste. Vein Miner Adjustment Vein miner now increases the amount mined per break as you level up more. Digger Adjustments Gravel now pays the same as sand for the digger job. The Exp formula has also been increased to be more difficult. General Economy Parkour Parkour Prizes have been buffed to as follows: Jungle - 7500 Grotto - 8000 Cactus - 10000 Balloon - 12000 Flower - 14000 Airport - 17000 City - 20000 Stronghold - 20000 Countryside - 20000 Chillroom - 35000 Boomo Boomo prizes have been buffed to 5000. Halo Halo TDM's prize has been buffed to 1500 per win. Shop The /warp shop has been updated. The purpose of this update is to set the maximum and minimum prices for the economy.
