One thing I don't think anyone has brought up, is that smoking marijuana leads to lung cancer (smoking anything, really)

There are ways to avoid lung cancer with cannabis: edibles, vaporizers, etc. The risk of lung cancer is not quite the same as it is with tobacco products, as long as chemicals are not added the risk of lung cancer should be left to the risk taker.

Alcohol that is used to clean things is completely different than drinking alcohol. You will die if you drink alcohol products meant for cleaning lol.

How are you looking at it? Cause as I see it marijuana makes someone lazy while high and some short term memory loss.

Some people might claim marijuana is dangerous. Some people say it's fine. It's actually a mix if both, as marijuana is fine consumed on several occasions per month/year, but can be dangerous as it is here in Switzerland, consumed on a daily basis. It has been proven that marijuana accelerates the development process of schizophrenia, if consumed regularly.
However, you can not overdose, unlike with alcohol. And there isnt an physical adictivness, but it's mentally addictive with some people, much less than alcohol.
Alcohol is dangerous for several reasons.
The first one being overdose due to excessive drinking, which happens everyday.
The second one is the addictive side of alcohol.
Side effects are just as bad as lung cancer if consumed to much.
I'm not saying that majijuana is something good, donlt get me wrong (even though some might disagree), I'm just saying between that between alcohol and majijuana, you can't tell which one is worse, because it really depends.

I could be wrong but I don't think smoking weed is proven to cause lung cancer. Cancer is caused by mutated DNA in the cells in your body, which is generally an effect of tar build up on your lungs. Smoking cigarettes causes a lot of tar build up over time, however i'm not sure that weed does that to the extent of having copious amounts of tar causing mutated DNA. Of course this depends on the amount a person is consuming.

It is scientificially proven inhaling combusted material contains carcinogens, thus cause cancer.

(Additionally, a joint contains more tar due to being unfiltered)

"Risk of respiratory effects from inhaling marijuana smoke are heightened by the more intensive way in which marijuana is smoked -- when smoking marijuana compared to tobacco, there is a prolonged and deeper inhalation and it is smoked to a shorter butt length and at a higher combustion temperature. This results in approximately 5 times the carbon monoxide concentration, 3 times the tar, and the retention of one-third more tar in the respiratory tract. Higher levels of ammonia and hydrogen cyanide have also been found in marijuana smoke, compared to tobacco (Moir, et al., 2008; Wu et al., 1988; Tashkin et al., 1991; Benson & Bentley, 1995)."

You don't necessarily need to smoke marijuana, vaporizing heats the marijuana to a temperature where THC is taken in without "smoke".
